Top Bibles
In Logos 8, when I open the Passage Guide, I only have 3 Bibles that open. Of the Bibles that automatically open, 2 are listed in my top Bibles, one of them I very rarely open. In Logos 7, when opening the Passage Guide, my 5 selected Top bibles would open. Is there a way to change this? Also, in Logos 7, the Information panel, the Text Comparison panel, and the Exegetical Guide Tab (I hope that I used the correct descriptor terms for panels, etc.) would all open automatically upon initiating a Passage Guide search. Is there a way to personalize the Passage Guide for all of these actions?

Technically the Passage Guide is a single entity - what you are describing is the Layout associated with the Guide. Sorry about being pedantic but it hopefully helps understand this a bit better!
And the way to change this is to customise a layout - specifically a "Home Page Layout".
Set up the various tabs, tools, etc as you want and then click the Layouts tab. In the "Home Page Layouts" section, click the arrow to the right of "Passage Study" and select "Replace with current layout". Now when you run the "Passage Study Layout" you should get the Passage Guide and associated tools / resources where you want them.
Please let us know if this doesn't make sense at all or doesn't give you what you are looking for.

Thank you for the quick reply, I will give it a try. I don't understand, though, why L7 would automatically open your top Bibles in the Passage Guide, but now with L8, I have to go through a "personalization" process. But, once again, thank you for the tip. I look forward trying it out.

L7 didn't automatically open the top Bibles in the Passage Guide. Entering a passage in the Go Box on the home page opened a layout that included the Passage Guide opened to the passage and your top Bibles. This functionality is now available in the Command Box.
During L8 testing - I believe due to user request - the number of Bibles opened by default when opening the Passage Study layout was reduced from five to three.
