How Do I Acquire L8?

I currently have L7 (Faithlife Essentials subscription) and have been hesitant to go through the pain of trying to learn L8 (I‘m completely new to Logos).  A few quick questions below:

What would be the benefit of acquiring L8?

How do I do this if I decide to pull the trigger?

How much does it cost?

Thank you in advance!

If you have Faithlife Essentials subscription, L8 is part of that subscription. In fact, your installation may already have upgraded itself.

If it hasn't, go here to download the update: https://www.logos.com/install

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

On launch day Faithlife Connect subscribers will be automatically updated to the new Logos 8 engine and get access to the new Logos 8 features, data sets, etc. (that corresponds to their Connect level: Essentials and higher get everything), but will not be upgraded to a new Logos 8 library. There will likely be a special offer for Connect members to get an special price to upgrade to a Logos 8 library, if you choose to do that.

Connect members received early access to Logos 8, as of last week. As a Connect subscriber, please check your email or click on this link to store.faithlife.com/buy/169069 to benefit from the new release. Anyone that is subscribed to Connect and didn't click on the early-access email, will be auto upgraded early this week.

If you are not on Logos 8, give customer service a call

Thank you much.  I should have clarified that I meant for my iPad & iPhone.  My apologies.

I rarely use my MacBook Air, except to write papers for journals, etc...but I will definitely use the link above for the Mac soon 👍.

If you upgrade to the latest Logos app in the AppStore you will be running the V8 version.

It doesn’t have all the functionality of the desktop product but complements it - similar Homepag, support for Logos 8 Notes system etc
