looking for a map
This is a two fold question / comment./ suggestion
I don't do a lot of fancy stuff in Logos, but I was reading I Samuel and it mentioned Mount Gilboa. I was curious where this was situated, so I right clicked on it and found Mount Gilboa place. I clicked on that and nothing happened, but then I noticed a list of 28 resources in the left column that I could click on.
Each resource was listed by a highly abbreviated title. I recognized ISBE right away but none of the others. I would think that when I hovered the mouse over a resource, I would get a small window giving me the full title. No such luck. I started clicking on them and didn't find any maps after 5 clicks.
So question: when I come to a place in the Bible, what's the easiest way to see it on a map?
Suggestion: When I hover my mouse over a long list of abbreviated titles, please let me see the full title.
Thank you.

- Select Gilboa in text
- Right click to open context menu
- On the right side select (1) Mount Gilboa - Place
- On the left side select (2) Atlas
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thank you. That was easy. I'm embarrassed I missed that. I was expecting that when I clicked on Mount Gilboa place, another window would open or some results would somehow show up. Then I saw that long list of resources and thought maybe that was my answer.
But thank you. Again.

That list is basically Bible dictionaries that have an article on Mount Gilboa

You can also link the bible verse up to the atlas which seems very useful

Did you see where I said that Logos should give the full title of the resource when I hover the mouse over it? I shouldn't have to open a resource to find out what it is.
But thank you for responding.

I agree.
