Android Reader Suite 8.1.1.0003 Stable Release Notes
The Android team is pleased to announce the 8.1.1.0003 Stable release of the Faithlife Apps.
The apps should be available soon in the Google Play store and sometime tomorrow in the Amazon Store.
If you discover any issues please create a new post and include the following info:
Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred?
Reproduction Steps - Clearly explain how to reproduce the issue.
App Info – Which app you are using (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Verbum or Faithlife Ebooks).
Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic, Kindle Fire HDX).
Android Version – (5.1, 6.x, 7.x, 8.x, 9.x).

- On the Text Comparison screen the verse picker is now on the left
- Resource line height changes take effect without an app restart
- Media Resources and Topics sections in the Passage Guide are fixed
- Only show user collections containing Bible resources when performing Bible searches
- Remove duplicated toolbar in Community Notes
- Update the display when line spacing changes in view settings
- Fix custom keyboard tabs height on phones with notches

So, I guess this means that automatic hyperlinking is not yet fixed for verse references?

This release is apparently incompatible with Amazon Kindle Fire tablets from 2017? See here.
I can confirm that. Incompatible with Kindle Fire, FireOS version 5.3.6.4.

When I log into the app and split a window to add a second book (such as the Reformation Study Bible) or try to use the Audio Bible, the app crashes and refuses to restart until a reinstall the app
This is really frustrating.
Has anyone else seen this and is there a fix?
I'm using a Huawei P10 running and this started once I installed the update.
