Amber requires authorization to learn more about Amber
Trying to learn more about Amber leads to a sign-in prompt to get access to its About info.
For what it's worth, I merely wanted to download a file for a Mobile Ed course. Not sure why access to files needs to become more restrictive.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Come on, Faithlife. Amber will never figure herself out. Terrible choice for a name!

It's our digital asset manger, and it is also used as the storage mechanism for individual or group files and uploads. For some reason, your Faithlife.com authentication didn't pass over to the asset manager. Does it prompt you to do this every time?

I didn’t authorize it. The prompt happens every time, but I’ve since learned that Amber is not used for Mobile Ed documents. Glad I didn’t unnecessarily grant it any permission.
The point was that in trying to learn what it was, an unauthorized user is prevented from reading more about it.

Hi,
You're right, that doesn't really make sense. The bug has been fixed. It has not yet been shipped, but it's on its way.
Thanks for letting us know.
