It is suggested to replace Evangelical Commentary on the Bible with the newer Baker Commentary on the Bible.
Can you explain why?
It is newer by 12 years, right?
But why replace - why not both?
ok, both then.
P.S. Logos seems like replacing but not keeping different versions
I've seen it work both ways - is the Baker an update to the Evangelical? Or is it a separate publication from the same publisher? I am not familiar with either one - and just want to understand why we would consider exchanging one for the other.
A quick check of Amazon suggests that they are the same book - just renamed, "Originally published as the Evangelical Commentary on the Bible, this comprehensive volume offers accessible, concise explanations of the purpose and content of each biblical book." Has it been updated or just renamed?
I don't know. All the information I get is from the one you quote...
haha
