Word Smart Tags
Does the MS Word Smart tags function work with Logos 8? If so, how? If not, is there an alternative? I'm looking for an easy way to paste multiple Bible passages from a series of references. You used to be able to right click on the Bible reference in Word, and Word would recognize it with the Logos Smart tag and you could replace it without opening up the Copy Bible Verses window.
It was especially helpful for a paragraph listing of verses that won't easily paste into the Copy Bible Verses box, for example:
1 John 1:1-4
Ephesians 3:14-21
Ephesians 2:4-7

Smart Tags do work with Logos 8, but it will only do one passage at a time (just tried your examples). Note that Logos has to be running for this to work. I also had to paste the above into Word as "Text Only." Pasted as hyperlinks did not work.

I can't get it to work. The hyperlinks are forum created. When I right click on the plain text of a verse in a Word document (e.g. John 3:16) I get no option to paste from Logos. I do have the Logos smart tags installed I believe. See the screenshot. Am I doing something wrong? Should I try and reinstall Smart Tags? If so, where do I download it now?

There's a link there to fixing Smart Tags using PowerShell (assumes a Windows OS), as well as some trouble shooting tips.
(I'm assuming your looking in the "Additional Actions" part of the Word right-click pop-up menu for the "Replace with Passage" link.)
I do remember having difficulty at one point with Smart Tags, but that was after a MS Office update. But it's been so long ago, I don't remember how I solved it. If I remember, I'll post back here (assuming you're still having trouble).
