Really pleased to see support for adding anchors to notes.

but, as far as I can see, when adding a note to a range of text it is created “by selection” and you can then add a reference anchor.

    You can’t:

    * create a note by reference directly from the text

    * add a selection anchor to a note

Am I missing something or is this how it is at the moment? If so, are these two things going to be added in?

And thanks for adding full screen note editing - very helpful

    Good questions, Graham!

At this time, adding Reference anchors is supported in the notes tool. We need to do some work to the selection menu to improve the "targeting" experience in order to make text anchors and setting anchors for a reference more feasible (kind of like the context menu on desktop).

Tested the iOS beta on the Tube this morning. App doesn’t crash. After the ’saving note’ message, there is a completion message and the app continues and I can press ‘Done’ in the usual way.

Looking good. Thank-you very much for the quick resolution.

This has put me into an infinite crashing loop. I tried running a Bible search in the KJV, it crashed, and it's crashed on every attempt to load since then, even after a reboot of my iPad Pro 10.5

and it's crashed on every attempt to load since then

in iOS settings (top level), scroll down to the Logos Bible entry, select that and enable "Reset Workspace".

That should at least allow the app to open, but it will probably close all the tabs you had open.

I have had a good experience thus far with the anchor functionality and using full-screen mode.  On desktop, we can also add anchors to Factbook entries.  Will we also be able to do that on iOS? (This request should not be construed to imply a feature request.)
