BUG? Different library search results

A one word initial search of my library to quickly locate known resources on the topic returns different results between desktop and iOS apps. I accidentally discovered there is a discrepancy in the results between apps. I typed in the same word into each library search box, in this instance - disability. All 17 resources are owned and have a permanent license. Is there a difference in the way the library search operates between apps? 

Windows Logos 17 results

Windows Verbum 17 results

Logos iOS app 17 results

Verbum iOS app 12 results

Faithlife Ebooks iOS app 12 results

Noet iOS app 15 results

    I don't know the answer to your specific question. Is it possible that some of the hits were for resources that are not available on the mobile app?

    Thanks for the reply, Fred. That crossed my mind as well, but the results appear on some mobile apps and not others. However, I think you may be on to something as after further searching for one of the titles specifically, I found it appears on The Logos iOS app but does not seem to be available on the others.

    The title I searched for: Disability and Isaiah’s Suffering Servant

    Maybe I should try rebuilding the index. Does anyone know how to do that on the mobile apps?

    On the HomePage of the iOS app enter Rebuild Index in the command box (the box where you would normally enter a passage reference. There will not be a visible indicator that this is doing anything. Additionally, this command does not do the same thing as rebuilding the index on the desktop. My understanding is that it simply rebuilds / updates the book list

    Thank you. I will try that and report back in case anyone else is having the same problems.

    Well, I ran rebuild index on all the iOS apps that were missing library results (Verbum, Faithlife eBooks and Noet). Thanks Fredc :-)

    It fixed the problem with Verbum app which now finds all 17 volumes. Hooray!

    I am still puzzled however, as using the same search word, Faithlife eBooks app still only finds 12 books and Noet app15?

    Perhaps someone from Faithlife can provide a good answer. I wonder if it has something to do with the way ebooks and Noet resources are built as opposed to Logos resources. Though they are all FL products, there is a difference in the way they are tagged and formatted

    There are a number of factors at work here.  It is normal to have different books available depending on if you are using desktop or mobile, or which mobile app you are using.

    Our mobile apps come with some resources for which a license isn't actually added to your account. Those resources are unavailable to you to download, either in the mobile or desktop apps. These free, online-only resources are different depending on which app you are using.  The selection that is included for that mobile Logos app is different from that included for the mobile Verbum app, and so on.

    The Faithlife Ebooks App is set by default to only display your Faithlife Ebooks titles.  You can change this by going to Settings and de-selecting "Faithlife Ebooks resources only".

    In addition, not all resources available on your Windows or Mac computer are available on Mobile devices.  For example, the Interactive resources, such as the Psalms Explorer, do not display on Mobile.
