I have reproduced this crash by doing the following:

Start up Logos 4.0

Click on Pr 31:10-31 from the Revised Common Lectionary to Copy the Bible Reference.  (As a side note, why is the Jeremiah reading or the Wisdom of Solomon reading not listed?)

Paste the Bible Reference in the Go Box

Click on the Exegetical Guide

Click on the Hebrew term for "Wealth" to run a Word Study

Then I get a Crash, and not only has it crashed, but it cannot complete the Error report to Microsoft.

System:

Dell Inspiron E1505, Core 2 Dual 1.86, 1 GB RAM, Window XP SP3

Hi, thanks Kenneth, looking at the logs it seems this issue has been fixed for the next Beta, I will keep track of this issue.

Well, as soon as the new build (Beta 2) was done re-indexing I tried it again, and what can I say - You build it, I break it.

Same steps as before - pick the Proverbs reading from the Lectionary, paste the reference in the passage box, hit Go.  Select the exegetical guide, pick the first term - the Hebrew for wealth, and ask for a word study.

Logos grinds for a bit and then gives a report that it has encountered an error and must close.  While this dialogue box is displayed, the BWS is still being updated and actually seems to be working.  I click the box to submit the error report and when it tries to report it, it looks like nothing happens.  5 minutes later, I cancel the report and Logos 4 is frozen up.  I close it though Windows Task Manager, which soon finds that it is unresponsive.  That error report goes through fine.

Attached are the log files from the 2nd time in a row.  Indexer log is much longer since for some reason it had to re-discover resources.

I cannot reproduce this in Beta 3.  First of all, I have no lectionary.  But when I tried everything else just like before, it works - no crash.

Can you include a screen shot to show what you mean that you have no lectionary? Is it missing completely from the ribbon above or is there a small chunk of it displaying?
