Is there a way I can designate the "Logos Log Files" folder to somewhere else besides my My Documents folder?
was typing a response when I realized that you are using Windows. My response would have only confused you [8-|]
You can always direct a folder (not just the Logos folder) to be somewhere else - see second option at http://wiki.logos.com/Install_in_different_folder_or_drive.
Hello Ian,
I know this has been a while, but did you ever find a solution to this?
If there was a 'system' solution it would come via Logos 7 at the earliest, and with Windows "Controlled Folder Access"; which now seems to have been withdrawn (try typing that in the Find box of Start > Settings). That leaves my suggestion, above.
The default log file location can't be changed in Logos 8. For previous discussion of this, please see https://community.logos.com/forums/p/174146/1005843.aspx#1005843
Thanks. When are they planning to fix this?
I can't turn off logging for some reason so my workaround has been to make the log folder hidden.
When are they planning to fix this?
Please elaborate about motivation for changing log file location. Faithlife has business reason to keep log file location as is for Technical Support.
Enable Logging setting changes verboseness of log contents. Enabled = Lots of lines written. Disabled = some lines written.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Because I don't tolerate clutter in my documents from any other company and I won't tolerate it from Logos.
Got it. Thanks.
I don't know, but I've added a link to this thread to our internal case tracking this problem, to bring it to the attention of the person prioritising the issue.
Thanks.
