Media Tool
I am having lots of issues today with the Media Tool. Is FL doing some sort of maintenance?
I did a speed test, and I am showing my internet is pretty fast.
I restarted my PC and router.
Everything else seems fine.
How does one know when FL servers are the culprit?

I’m not sure if the Issue you experienced would be reported here, but this site may helphttp://status.faithlife.com/

Thanks! I don't know what the problem is. IveI reset everything. But looks like FL is not the problem.

If you can duplicate the problem and post logs someone may be able to help identify what is happening under the hood. See my signature line for links to logging procedures

I can use the tool on my phone fine.

There is another thread reporting issues that may be related to yours. I alerted FL to both threads. Hopefully someone from FL will weigh in

We are investigating. The web app seems to be working in the meantime. https://app.logos.com/tools/media?layout=one

I can access the media tool via the tools option in the main menu with no apparent issues. The problem is when I do visual copy within ESV. Nothing happens. I've checked, and my internet is fine. Plus, I can access media readily otherwise. The specific issue is when I try a visual copy.
Also I found this in my log file on the same date I started have this issue:
This one was from the 8th:
I do not know what these are.

Here I am on the web app, so not for me apparently:

I can do a Bible verse, but I cannot do a lemma via the web app.
I tried another resource in desktop app. Still nothing. This is using visual copy to make a slide to send to PowerPoint. It will not make a visual copy of the lemma but it will the verse or the English word in the web app. The desktop app does nothing with visual copy. Mobile has limited features still, but from what I can tell the features concerning media work fine according to the app's limitations.

I think it is finally working again!

It is happening again. You will need to fix it again. I am using your original work around in the web app for now and that does for the moment appear to be working.

Can you fix it again?

Theo,
I can't reproduce the issue. Can you provide specific repro steps?

Is it because I'm on the other side of the world and FL is doing some late night maintenance in the background?
All I do is open Philo or Josephus and choose some desired text.
I right click and select the reference like I would do in my Bible.
I then choose Visual Copy.
As before when we had the same problem, the Media Tool window opens.
It remains blank just as before. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The latter was more prevalent at the time I posted this issue hence my above comment about system/network maintenance?
I go to do the same in the web app as your previous workaround.
It works for the most part but still intermittently.
It works most often there, but not always.
I usually have to choose the selected text rather than the actual reference when I right click.
Does any of this make sense?
