Word Find Puzzles not working with High Sierra - possible Bug

Hello,
I make a Word Puzzle for the kids at church every week for my sermon text. I am not able to do that as it won't work fully. I have to use my old computer running Sierra rather than my new running High Sierra. Thankfully I have the old, but this is not working at all. You can see in the screenshot what it is doing - this isn't normal. The whole text is spread out compared to before.

You can't paste it in, you must attach it via the paperclip icon.

I dont know what it looked like before, but I wouldn't call what I see in the screen shot "spread out." To the contrary, it is dense & compact. What did it look like before?

I've opened up a case for this issue.

Greetings Jonathan
I was never sure what the real problem was had certainly forgotten about it.
The last post in this thread was about 2 years ago.
We have had updates to both Logos now Logos 8 and MacOS now 10.14.3 so if the problem persists for you it might be better to restate it completely in the Logos 8 forum.

I did post there and was directed here by faithlife stating that this was a known issue.

For info - the cross-post Jonathan refers to is at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/178784/1033577.aspx#1033577 where Bradley acknowledged this as still a problem on Mac.

Thank you! I’m horrible at posting active links when doing it from my phone. #Imisshighspeedinternet

Anyone know if this had been sorted yet? It’s been broken for so long now I have given up hope of ever being able to make a word puzzle through Logos, despite having contacted technical support a year or two ago - the blame was put squarely on Apple, but no work seems to have been done at the Logos end to make it useable again although it is still advertised as a ‘feature’ and this with several new iterations of Logos having been released (I have no reason to up to 9 if this still doesn’t work).

Bump.
I'm still waiting for this to be fixed too. Still having trouble on my mac. Big Sur & Logos 9.4
I don't care about being able to solve it myself in the software. I want to print it for children.

I suggest starting a new thread in the Logos 9 forum. This thread is in the Logos 7 forum, and Faithlife no longer supports Logos 7.

I wish this could get fixed. It's still not working on my Mac in Dec 2021.

The first move you will be advised to make will be to upgrade to a later version of Logos. Bugs specific to Logos 7 are unlikely to be given much attention.

I’ve had Logos 9 since it came out. Still the same bug.

I see, I just found it odd that you were posting in the Logos 7 forum. I don't pass by historic forums very often.

Seems like a potentially helpful feature that does not quite function at full capacity yet. A work around might be to screen shot the word find puzzle (Press SHIFT + COMMAND + 4 on Mac, then drag cursor around the desired content) and then print out the screen shot. I found that the word lists option worked better, as the passage option consistently cut off the Biblical passage in mid-verse. These are screen shots of word find puzzles from James 2:7-13 in the BZY GNT and NLT versions.

Thank you for this workaround, Jimmy!
I have a Sunday School student who is very interested in ancient languages - I printed out copies of a word find for the Hebrew version of Genesis 1:1. He's going to have a blast. Wish I'd thought of this sooner! [:)]
