Hi!
This is happening when I hit right arrow (first half of the movie) and then left arrorw (last half).

flv is the only type I haven't been able to open. Perhaps try a more popular type.

I can't speak for Dave, but if I had suggested that you use a more popular format, I would mean that as a volunteer, I am not willing to add the software to be able to see an uncommon form unless I am given a very good reason to do so. Instead, I would leave the question to be responded to by someone who already has the software or is willing to add it.

VLC has just passed 3 billon downloads, so there's statistically a good chance for people to have it installed
They might just not know that it plays this format (which was the one my screen recording software chose, and I did not realize before after finishing the recording). Anyway, I have converted it now and here it comes in MP4.0 -

You are correct that it is in the top 5 most popular formats. However, it is also common for people to have Adobe Flash turned off in their browsers for performance issues and to be unaware that when they use Hulu or YouTube they are using VLC. Besides, Dave is in Australia. [;)]
