Not what you're asking for, but Night Shift mode is coming to macOS Sierra 10.12.4, probably due out in March or April.
As for Dark Mode, there were rumors that it was coming to iOS 10, but they didn't pan out. If Apple does roll out Dark Mode in a future version of iOS, we can rest in the knowledge that it will eventually make it to the desktop too.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!
Any chance we could get a DARK MODE for Logos?
“Give yourself to the Dark Mode. It is the only way you can save your friends. Yes; your thoughts betray you. Your feelings for them are strong. Especially for your… sister! So, you have a twin sister. Your feelings have now betrayed her too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide her from me. Now, his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Mode...then perhaps she will…” - D Vader

Any chance we could get a DARK MODE for Logos? This would be really helpful in low-light and night-time study. The closest I can get right now is using "invert colors" on my mac.
Windows user can try this software quite useful.
Time to revive this one? I've used Logos with inverted screen colours for ages. I'd love to have direct control over colour of text and background. The problem with dark mode IMHO is too much contrast. I want a dark background with not quite as bright white text.
Now that MacOS Mojave is officially out, proper system-wide Dark Mode support (at least on Mac) should be implemented for full MacOS compatibility IMHO. Inverting the screen is a workaround, and since it is incompatible with MacOS's own Night Shift (and it causes other applications to be inverted too), it is not really an optimal solution. I really hope that the issue of Mojave dark mode incompatibility will be fixed!
Bump! Would LOVE a Dark Mode. No offense intended, but I find it pretty sad the Logos software library is so incredibly, shall we say, premium and lacks an integrated Dark Mode while many free programs / apps have a Dark Mode native to them already. It's difficult to read, especially in low-light night settings, and actually uses more power to have a white / light background!

Night Mode is quite easy on a Mac:
Alternative is using System Preferences to Invert color:
I don't use a Mac but does the information above help?
Wiki page also has
F.lux has color temperature customizations for day, evening, and night, which works on Mac (and other platforms).
