How can view only courses that I own in the Courses Tool?
I find the Courses Tool confusing.
It lists a lot of "courses" that do not show up as Courseware in the Library. Some of them seem to be courses that I can start, but others seem to be other courses available from Faithlife. I assume that they are advertisements, since the only option is Cancel, not Start when I select the course.
While it might be useful to see other available courses for purchase, if I go to the Courses tool, I usually only want to see the courses that I own.Mixing together courses that I own and courses that I could purchase under "Available" courses is misleading and confusing.
How can I limit the display of courses only to courses that I own? If I click on the blue word All, I would expect a list of choices, such as Started, Available, Partially Available, etc. I don't see such options in the Category selector on the left panel, although if I scroll enough I can see them in right panel listing the courses. There should be a clear distinction between "Available" (in the sense that I could purchase it) and "Owned" or perhaps "On this device".

I too find the listings menu confusing. However, if I open up the "Category" tab in the left hand panel and click on "Courseware", Then ensure that "Available" is the only tab displaying titles in the right hand panel under the panel heading ( "All > x Courseware"), then the 19 courses that I own are the only courses on display. Sorry I couldn't explain that better.

Harry, the "started", "recommended", and "available" sections all contain courses that you own. The "unavailable" section includes those that you don't own. Simply collapse the sections you don't wanna see.

Thanks. This is helpful. I think part of the confusion is that the Courses tool includes things that are not Courseware, such as devotionals and reading plans.

Keep in mind though that if you have any courses on a temporary basis (e.g. via Faithlife Connect) the "Available" section will include those courses, so it won't necessarily list only courses that you actually own via a permanent license.Harry Hahne said:Reuben Helmuth said:the "started", "recommended", and "available" sections all contain courses that you own. Good point. Thanks for the clarification!
