Number of Library resources don't match
Hello, everyone. I'm new to the Forums but I have really enjoyed reading about the different topics and issues everyone has posted and your answers have helped me in using Logos 8.
My issue is this: I have noticed that the count of my Library resources is different on the Desktop App vs the Mobile App. I have 43 more resources on the Desktop app than the Mobile app.
(The Logos Web app has 87 more resources than the Desktop App and that number matches the number of hidden resources I have on the Desktop App. Apparently you cannot hide resources on the Web App.)
Does anyone else have a different Library resource count on the Desktop and Mobile App? Thanks for any help with this.
Blessings to all,
Gordon

Welcome to the forums, Gordon!
My initial guess as to the difference in your iOS and desktop library counts is that it has to do with the fact that there are certain resources (not many) that are incompatible with the mobile app. Do you have a fairly large (I know that's subjective!) library?

Thanks for your quick reply, Reuben.
I have 3104 unhidden resources on the Desktop AP and 3061 resources on the iOS Mobile. So you're right a small percentage number. I wasn't aware that there were resources incompatible with the Mobile App, but that's not surprising.

Hi Gordon,
Reuben has already mentioned that there are certain resources that are incompatible with the mobile app. For example, our Interactive Resources do not display in Mobile. Anyone who owns a Logos 7 or Logos 8 base package is likely to have quite a few of these.
Also, our mobile apps come with some resources for which a license isn't actually added to your account. Those resources are unavailable to you to download, either in the mobile or desktop apps. These free, online-only resources are different depending on which app you are using. The selection that is included for that mobile Logos app is different from that included for the mobile Verbum app, and so on.
In addition, the Faithlife Ebooks App is set by default to only display your Faithlife Ebooks titles. You can change this by going to Settings and de-selecting "Faithlife Ebooks resources only".
It's actually normal to have a different resource count on the Desktop App vs the Mobile App. I would be very surprised if you had the same count in both platforms.

Thank you, Joe for your informative and helpful reply. I was not aware of the things you addressed but it all makes sense.
I really appreciate all the support on these forums from both FL and individual users.
Issue solved for me.
Thanks again, Gordon
