Facebook is Blocking Scripture Posts
I tried to post a visual copy of 1 Peter 1:16 this morning from KJV and I got a message that this was offensive content... I tried different backgrounds... all rejected. I tried several different verses, and as long as I used the visual copy tool.. it rejected my attempts every time. I tried other versions and the famous John 3:16, but all were rejected. I copy and past the verse without the visual copy tool and it worked.

Why is this being discussed here or there anyway? We can’t control what Facebook does or doesn’t do. And certainly, FL can’t do nothing about it either.
Facebook is your own personal social media. Any problems, people should take it up with Facebook not post about it here. This forum is for Logos Bible Software discussions, not about Facebook issues.

Personally this doesn't impact me as I don't use Facebook like that but it does have to do with Faithlife because what is being rejected is produced by them.

There is no need for a direct conversation. It’s a matter of a link that Facebook thinks it’s fishy and therefore it rejects it. You want it fixed then you contact Facebook directly or Just do like others do: save the picture to your computer and then post the picture instead of the link. That way you will also have a nice collection of verse of the day pictures in your PC 👍😁👌 I have Facebook and I don’t have that problem. And just think about it why would Faithlife contact Facebook directly? It really doesn’t make sense, because then every Christian company or institution would have to contact them directly just to allow links on Facebook when the solution it’s much easier than that. FL doesn’t need that extra work.

They certainly don't have to have a direct conversation. They could let every FaithLife user who posts one of these images to Facebook contact Facebook directly, or use the workaround you suggest. Or, they could make the business decision that reaching out to Facebook could a) make some of their users happy, and b) increase the visibility of their artwork on a leading social media site. I really don't care that much either way. But if I were FL, I'd go for it - it could be a very low cost way of winning some customer goodwill and maximizing some free advertising on FB.

Faithlife users need to stop being so picky. Their Facebook is their own responsibility, they should contact Facebook not Faithlife. The verse of the day is not a product FL sells to try to fix this problem and “make users happy” it is a free picture/art that faithlife is not even obligated to provide on a daily basis. So if someone wants to post the link and it gets rejected, then they are responsible for the content they are posting and should/must contact Facebook themselves if they are not happy that they’re unable to post. It doesn’t get any more clearer than that. Your Facebook page is yours and you’re responsible for what you post, not faithlife. It’s not fair for FL to have people come and complain because they cannot post on a Facebook page that doesn’t even belong to FL. 👍😁👌

Actually, it is Fatihlife's problem. The problem has been traced back to the rejection of the FL verse of the day site. Faithlife is now getting the information to the right person from FL to contact Facebook to get the site off the blocked list. This is certainly not the only OT thread in the forums but it is unusual in that OT turned out to be a FL issue.
