I think this is a bug. I have been putting links like this for my Morph Searches
For example:
- Open search and enter lemma:ἐπιτιμάω@VAAM2S
- Click on the "shish kebab" icon (that's what Adam Borries calls it) in the upper right corner of the search pane and select the blue L4 in the Copy Location As: row
- Go to your note and highlight the word you want to link and click the chain icon in the editor tool bar
- Press Ctrl-V (Cmd-V on Mac) to paste the link and press enter
If you do the same kind of thing for the Pronunciation tool all you get for a link is
logos4:Pronunciation
I tried the following but they would not even open the tool, so I suspect this is a bug in the tool and not the notes editor.
logos4:Pronunciation/ἐπιτιμάω
logos4:Pronunciation/Erasmian/ἐπιτιμάω

I got it to work, but, you are also saying this technique does not work for Pronunciation

Also, I could only COPY and link to a word in my notes by selecting the URL option not the L4
It created a link right to the Search results by copying the URL rather than the L4.
I can link to the pronunciation tool , but not to the specific Word.

I have tried to think of a scenario when I would need to pronounce a Greek or Hebrew Lemma in a note I created. Sorry, but I can't think of a time when that might be useful. If I am reading and come across a word I want to hear pronounced, I right click on the word and click pronounce
This seems to be much easier than typing or pasting a lemma into a note file, and then going back to pronounce it. Am I missing something?

I noticed that you are accessing the Pronunciation tool by right-clicking from the BIBLE, where you have to Continuously open it up in order to repeat the sound.
OUCH. Impractical at best.
At least the pronunciation tool remains opened allowing for continual access to repeat the SOUND over and over, as one needs when trying to learn a Greek Word.
If you are not specifically studying Greek then I understand your failure to comprehend the enormous benefit that it would be to supplement your studies by accessing the pronunciation tool from the notes: Notes that detail specific Greek verses that you have prioritized to learn first.
Just like a quick link to the actual passage helps one to Read more of the passage, a quick link to the pronunciation tool would help just the same.
What some people seem to struggle with is that they think just because they have no use for something that it must not have value at all.

I am not struggling with your suggestion, and did not imply that it has no value. I simply stated that I could not envision a scenario when I would use it in my weekly sermon and lesson prep. A process that does incorporate original language study.
Perhaps you could add this suggestion to uservoice If it gains significant interest, perhaps FL will consider adding it as a feature at some point in the future.

I see in my email there was a question about the "shish kebab" icon. I had never heard it called that before. But that is what Logos called it in their webinar last week. It's the three vertical dots icon that shows up in the upper right hand corner of all the panes in the Logos app. I've heard the three lines icon you see on many cellphone apps called a hamburger menu before but I had never heard the term "shish kebab"

The official name of the button is the "Panel Menu".
"Kebab Menu" is a nickname that doesn't always translate well into other cultures (where a "kebab" might look nothing like a stick with some pieces of food on it).
