Searching seems broken in 8
I chose Search All Bible Text, in LAW (Genesis - Deuteronomy) in All Bibles and I search for remember near hear
the first result is from Mark, the second from Isaiah...
And the results don't seem to be even related to my search terms...
I try changing the context to Old Testament...
The first result is Mark, the fourth is Luke, the 6th is Revelation...
It seems something is broken with the search (at least fuzzy search)...

The top section of Search is a Fuzzy Search that doesn't obey the search paramaters. It will always search all text of all bibles. The results of your search are in the following section, after Fuzzy Search. Also note that "remember near hear" should be "remember NEAR hear", the former is just searching for the text near, the latter is using the search operator NEAR.

Are you trying to search for three words (remember, near, and hear)? Or two words (remember near the word hear)? If the latter, then type the operator in all caps

Okay, but why are responses all the same, regardless of my search term?
Look at the images.
Nothing to do with any of my words...

And look at the responses, few, if any of them are within the bounds of my search criteria (Law, or Genesis)...

I don't believe the Fuzzy Search section is restricted to a custom range unless you specify an operator. I think it uses Otherwise the search range is only recognized by the Verses section below Fuzzy Search. This may be a bug, or it may be the way Fuzzy search is designed. Using the Custom range with the correct should solve your problem. See my screen shots below.

Fuzzy search is really more useful when there is a verse that you have a general memory of what it says, but you are not sure of the exact wording, or the reference
For example, you remember the is a verse that says we are saved with faith. You cannot remember exactly how it is worded, or where it is in the bible. You type saved with faith in a Bible search. Notice the results in the Fuzzy search vs the Verses section
The verses section returned the only verse that contains the word saved and faith and with in the verse. The fuzzy search however returns a variety of results in both the new and old testaments.
I would not try to use fuzzy search outside the scope it is intended for. If you are search for a specific word or phrase, rely on the verses section for the most accurate results.
