Highlighting within Logos 8 Notes?

Does Logos 8 Notes allow highlighting within the note? I haven't found a way and haven't heard anything about this as of yet. Thanks!

Select the text you want to Highlight
Click the Background Color Dropdown
Select desired color

I saw that, but just wondered if there was a way to use shortcuts (i.e. when highlighting in a Bible). Thanks for your insight.

Unfortunately the Highlighting tool (that contains the shortcuts your refer to) does not work with the notes tool.
