Maths Question for product pages

Hi.

I feel like I am missing something on this product page ... https://www.logos.com/product/171529/2-and-3-john-study-collection

The 12 new resources I can see ... but the total to £412.40 eludes me ...

Adding up the if sold separately separately (not purchased separately!) ... it adds to £79.41

So why is it giving me an exclusive price of £180 for resources valued at £80 ?

Assuming that this is all data driven and that each product page is not hand crafted (when pricing dynamically) then it looks at first glance that presumably all product pages might be in error ... presumably not the case ... so what have I missed?

Thanks.

    Martin,

You are asking an important question. When I visit this product page, I am seeing similar results:

"When you purchase 2 and 3 John Study Collection, you'll get 20 new resources that would cost $2,587.29 if purchased individually."

However, when I add up the price of the "New to You" resources, the total comes to $447.58.

And my dynamic price is $515.75.

    Something is definitely wrong here.

    Faithlife, please look into this!

I just checked out another Bible book bundle to see if other ones are having this same problem too. The Philemon bundle has the same issue:

"When you purchase Philemon Study Collection, you'll get 10 new resources that would cost $2,119.99 if purchased individually."

When I add up the price of the "New to You" resources, the total is $205.47.

    My dynamic price is $401.79.

If this package doesn't make it past the first round and receives 35% off my current dynamic price, I would be spending $55.70 more than if I just bought every book individually right now. Even if this package was the winner of the whole March Madness tournament, I'd only save $44.75.

Something is not adding up here. My assumption now is that all of the Bible book bundle pages are suffering from errors in calculation.

Last I checked, all bundle pages are wrong and have been for some time now. Every now and again someone brings it up again as if it's a new problem, but I'm not sure that it's actually been fixed in the meantime. I may be forgetting something.

    Hi all,

I posted this response on another post, but I'm going to produce it here verbatim just in case you haven't seen it:

There is an error in the section "When you purchase..." that is calculating the collection prices of all the individual resource prices rather than the individual prices themselves. We are working on a fix for that and I'll let you all know once it's been deployed.

The "Your Exclusive Price" section showcases the same price as the "Retail Price" or "Dynamic Price" section at the top of the page, not the sum of the individual product prices shown under the "Individual Titles" header. That's working as intended. The section pulls in the current price of that individual resource on our website. The item may be on sale at this time, which is why you may see a lower price when you add them up as opposed to the current sale price.

Keep in mind -- these collections have not been discounted yet! LMM is just getting started and the discounts will push the price of these collections even lower.
