Intermittent (Old) Bug Still Present

I've run into so many frustrations using the MA on my iPad I've quit posting them here, whether they be bugs or simply tasks that ought to be easy but aren't.

But today I had a very frustrating experience which has been intermittent but ongoing for years- the app wouldn't allow me to select text.

So, during the sermon, the what-should-be-simple task of taking a sentence from a commentary attaching it to a verse in the form of a note was impossible.

Some days I really wonder why this thing is marketed as a functional app.

    That happens to me occasionally. It used to be quite often but now so much now. I have to close the app down and then re-open it and all works well - until the next time, that is.

    This also happens to me from time to time. I can resolve it usually by toggling the scrolling view feature on and off (or off and on).

    Yep, that's how I have to fix it.

    It's been reported repeatedly, and then reported back that's it's fixed in the next update. But it never has been, apparently.

    And when you are sitting in a sermon in church, trying to take a note or make a clipping, etc., there simply isn't time to turn things off and on.
