How do I put content into a DOC?
It only appears to allow me to edit the title.
What type of document are you referring to? The answer varies.
HANDOUT
Are you talking about a Handout generate from a Sermon Document? If so, the content for the handout is generated from the content in the Sermon document that you have selected to be included in the handout
If you are talking about the Handout in Documents it is a deprecated feature with limited availability.
Handouts are deprecated. They are still there in L5Win just as they were in L4Win. For new users, I believe they are not visible by default on the documents menu. But if you have used handouts in the past they should be there.

It is one of the type of DOCs available to choose in the DOCs menu in LOGOS 8. I am not using the Sermon editor.
I no longer have Handouts available as an option. Of course I never used handouts, with the exception of some beta testing in L4-5.
As MJ said, that document type was depreciated.Have you used Handouts in the past?
After opening the handout select the 'Add blank Item' option and a text box will open below.
After typing in the box press 'done' and the text should appear in the handout.
It appears between Clippings and Morph Query in my drop down list. No, I have never used them before as far as I can remember.
Thank you Sue! That does the trick. No wonder it is now deprecated because that is not intuitive at all and there is nothing to point the user in that direction. I thought that would be something you click on after adding content.
I saved one HANDOUT 8 years ago when I was toying with the idea of making a sermon-based "Children's Bulletin. I can confirm that (although the feature has been deprecated) it is still possible to create a new HANDOUT Doc under L8.3.
In a new HANDOUT, start by typing in a text range. This will provide options of art, maps, wordsearch puzzle, etc. based upon your text.
