Layouts Saved to the Dashboard
I have saved a layout to my dashboard titled "The Book of Revelation Made Easy". The layout consists of the book by the same name, a couple of Bibles and notes.
When I complete my study, I select "Update Active" from the Layouts menu. When I want to continue my reading, I click on the card on my dashboard and it opens to the original pages as when I first saved the card and not to the saved updated version of the layout. If I open the layout from the Layouts menu, it opens correctly to the last saved version.
Is this by design? Am I doing something wrong? If I did not write this in a way that can be clearly understood, please let me know and I can include pictures.

You are not doing anything wrong. This has been reported in the past, and I believe is considered a bug. Unfortunately when layouts are place on the HomePage Dashboard, they will not update. As you have discovered, they remain in the state they were originally in when placed on the dashboard

I believe this bug is already fixed for an upcoming version of the beta software, and will be available in the next stable release.
