PREVIOUSLY LINKED BIBLES

Guys, I have a problem with my notes and highlights in Logos 8. Every time I create a note or make a  highlight in my preferred Bible (NASB), it links them automatically to some of my major translations, (NIV, NKJV, ESV, and my HCSB). This takes place even when these are not open.

Sometimes my original note appears twice on one of my other translations (NIV). If I try to remove the "twin note" from, let's say, the NIV, the original note on my NASB disappears.

I must have linked them together somehow in the past, but I don't know how to unlink them.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joseph

There could be a couple of things going on here.

I created a quick video that illustrates what you are likely seeing and a solution

    Hi Joseph,

This is something called Corresponding Notes & Highlights. It occures when the note or highlight is attached to a reference or in the case of Bible is they have a Reverse Interlinear (RI). You can turn these off by clicking on your Visual Filters button and under Notes & Highlights (Corresponding), this is the second Notes & Highlights menu item, uncheck the notebook that you do not want to be displayed. You can always get turn them off or on when you want them. Hopefully this screenshot will be helpful.

    Blessings,

    Philana
