Why is the verse of the day blurry?

On the Logos 8 home page, the verse of the day is blurry and looks terrible!  Everything else on the page looks great, and all pictures are crisp and clear.  Does anyone know why the verse graphic looks so bad and if there's any way to fix it?  If not, I may have to stop including it in my home page, but I really love seeing the verse there.

A screenshot would help, showing other parts of the page for contrast.

Mine was acceptable, but the writing had lower contrast than ideal.

    Hi,

Now, that is very peculiar because according to the screenshot I just sent it is OK. However, that is nothing like how it appears on my screen. On screen it appears as if I have taken a small thumbnail pic and blown it up, really lousy resolution!

So now a double mystery? Could it be something to do with how we have the scaling set???

Sorry, just tap on screeenshot to enlarge and you can see how rough the quality is!

I've never seen a VOTD this bad, although looking closely at mine, the resolution certainly could be better.

The Faithlife servers give Logos Bible software a choice of a number of different sizes (widths of 1920, 1024, 768, 600, 512 and 256). On my 1080p monitor, Logos displays the 512px version, but it looks like Logos is choosing to display the 256px version on your screen. (Even on mine the 512px is a bad choice, as the image is upscaled to 640px.)

What screen resolution do you have? It looks like it might be high dpi?

I think there may be a particular problem with this image. I usually open the Windows APP for VOTD each day and save the image to a folder on my local computer. Today I get this message from the Bible Screen VOTD app: This only happens about once every 2-3 months.

I clicked on the blurry thumbnail in the home page and it opened up the Media window so that I was able to save a copy in this resolution

For me, it helped to change the program scaling (and it stayed okay when I changed it back, although it still doesn't seems as clear as it should be)
