How can I assign multiple tags to a resource?
Good morning All!
I like to add multiple tags to new resources. If a new resource is a commentary I may add "CommentaryOldTestament" along with "CommentaryHistorical" etc. I noticed that with Logos 8, as soon as I enter one tag, the resource is immediately moved to that tag. I then have to go manually locate it in order to add more tags. In Logos 7 I could enter all the tags I wanted at one time, hit enter, and then the resource disappeared from view to the appear under the appropriate tags.
I have contacted support a month or two ago and they are aware of the behavior. I did update to Logos 8.3 and the behavior persists. In the meantime, has anyone who experienced this developed a successful workaround?
Thank you for any ideas!

Hi Alan,
You are probably looking at your library sorted by tags and tagging resources that are not tagged... just a guess.
If you open the facets menu on the left and click on added, then chose the time period and then sort by title you will see all your new books. You can add as many tags as you want and they will stay in view.
Option 2 is to open the resource and then the information panel and tag there.
Here is a screenshot of option 1, the one I use.

Thank you John and you are correct . . . I am trying to assign tags to resources that are not tagged.
I tried doing Option 2, however, as soon as I assign a tag, the resource syncs and is moved to the appropriate tag (or resources if I assigned the same tag to multiple resources).
Also, I only have the last thirty days as the only time period available for newly added resources. Do you know if there is a setting to increase the period of time?

This is not a change in L8.

Clear any Sidebar filters (click All >). In the Find box, type {AddedDate 32d}, which will show resources added in the last 32 days (change the number to what you want).

The trick is not to sort Library by My Tags. Sorting by Last Updated will bring new resources together and prevent the jumping you mention (when new resources are added, Last Updated is the date they were added, but it might include some older resources that were updated).
