BUG: UBS5 with Sentence Diagram Tool

Hello.

I'm a seminary student, and we use UBS5 in the Greek class. One thing I noticed when I import verses from UBS5 in the Sentence Diagram tool is that it eliminates all the punctuation marks (comma, period, semicolon). These are very important part in translating & diagramming the text and should be fixed. When I use other Greek text, like UBS4, it doesn't do that. Only with UBS5.

Welcome to the forums, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but in English, it always removes the punctuation marks which I would expect as most diagramming techniques exclude punctuation. I would especially not expect punctuation that does not exist in the manuscript.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but there's no English involved in diagraming for me. The Greek text UBS5 carries punctuation marks and when I import verses from it for diagraming those marks don't get carried over to the Diagraming Tool. When I import from other Greek texts, like UBS4, the punctuations don't go missing.

The language should be irrelevant. The behavior in English should be the behavior in German should be the behavior in Greek. I simply tested what was most convenient for me at the moment. My apologies if that confused you. With USB4Int I get inconsistent results for Mark 1:1-2 with the punctuation dropped from v1 but not v2. I agree that there is a bug here but suspect that the bug is that the punctuation sometimes shows rather than that it is missing.
