finding search results

Maybe I''m going crazy here, but something changed in my searches, and I don't think it's me.
I have a book opened, and I'm looking for a certain passage, so I typed in a word that I know is in that passage. It notes that that word occurs 95 times in the book. There used to be a little icon or something that I could click on, and it would take me to the next place that word appeared. There is none, so now I have to scroll down each page of the book looking for a highlighted word. That seems too tedious of a task in the age of computers.
Am I missing something here?
Thank you

It sounds like you're talking about inline search.
Insure you have search result selected, then use the Up & Down arrows to move through results.
If you're talking about something else, please let me know

Above the text, there is a row of symbols, one of which is a magnifying glass, which gives the option: Search all text in all passages for, and then you fill in the blank.
I did what you said and found what I was looking for in an instant.
So I found what I was looking for, and I am really, really appreciative, but I am curious about this other search tool. Why didn't I get those scrolling options there?

I don't have those arrows. I have a regular monograph. I clicked on the magnifying glass next to the text box, it said search all text in all passages for: I typed the word, it gave me a total, but no arrows.

I don't know how to do that.
The top line:
Search all text in all passages for {an icon which says: send to} the close icon
next lind
the box where I enter the word(s) at the far right it gives a word count and a close icon
That's it.

You need to turn on the "Show locator bar" option in the panel menu (the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the panel).

Thank you. I don't see why that needs to be a separate function. But thanks again. I really appreciate your help.

I tried but I'm not getting very far. I know at some point in the future I'll wish I knew how to do it, but right now I want to get on to some other things.
Thank you again.
