BUG Note transfer from 7 to 8
I upgraded from 7 to 8. On a Windows 10 now.
Quite a few notes have doubled up and tripled up the Flag Icon in the Note.

It would help to have a screenshot of some offending Notes. Have they affected the Note icon in the resource?

Here is 2 of many. The notes behind the icon are dido's or copies.

Please post a screenshot of one of these notes from within the Notes Tool.
It looks as though it might be a single note with multiple anchors (for some reason)

Maybe not. I'll fix that. But the same basic results are the same. I have never touched anything to do with "Anchors".

I wasn’t suggesting you had done something with anchors - just trying to determine what happened in the migration process

I have run into buckets of these. Just never brought it up until today.

The problem with the screenshots is that the resource text is from NKJV, whilst the Note comes from the ESV! So you need to illustrate issues from one bible (NKJV or ESV). In the bible, click your Visual filters icon and remove/untick highlighting and/or notes that came from other sources, or a Visual filter, as below:
Just show your Notebooks in Notes and Highlights - I deselected notes that come from a Workflow as they put a lot of Note icons in a passage. Then take a screenshot.
In the Notes tool, sort all the Notes/highlights for that bible, so we can see all those that relate to the passage, as below
