Setting Highlight to Active Notebook
It seems that something has changed. I have been using the online tutorials about notes, and I thought it was working, but now it isn't:
When I set Highlighting "Solid Colours" or "Emphasis markup" to "Active Notebook," notes that are highlighted become notes, but are not assigned to the active notebook to no notebook.
Is the active notebook something different than the last notebook used? It seems they should be the same.

I believe you need an "active" notebook. In other words, do you still have a Notes tool panel filtered to a specific notebook? It's working for me...

That works. So it also means that the only way to open and keep open, a notebook is to filter it open. Is that correct?

Correct. FL is considering/planning to bring back the ability to choose a notebook when creating a note from the context menu which, I imagine, will not have this requirement...
