Red Letter not working in NKJV
For some reason the Red Letters of Jesus feature is not working in the NKJV.
I checked the KJV and it is working.
This is a new installation on a new computer. It was working on the previous computer. This is the first I've tried it on the new computer, so I don't know if it has worked before on this machine - and if it just stopped or has never worked. (This is the first time I've looked at the Gospels with this installation).
I've tried turning it off and back on - doesn't help.
Thoughts?

I cannot duplicate this problem. Red Letters are working fine in my NKJV.
When you say you have tried turning it off and back on; do you mean the Red Letter setting in the Program Settings, or your computer? If the latter, Insure Show Red Letters is set to yes in your Program Settings.

I meant turning the setting off and then back on.
It is working in the KJV, ESV, ASV and NIV.
This is really strange.

Do you have the “Bible Text Only” option selected in the resource Visual Filter menu?

That was it. Duh. I don't remember that causing this in the past, but maybe it did.
Thanks.

I'm glad this post is online because I had the same problem.
I do not think red letters should be linked to the control of "Bible text only". It should be totally controlled by the red letter ON/OFF control in the Preferences. It is highly confusing when there is a red letter control in Preferences, that can be overridden somewhere else that is not completely obvious. To me, the color of the lettering is not the same as something extra to the text, e.g. footnotes, end notes.

There is a separate Suggestion forum that they monitor. They may pick up suggestions in other forums but it is not guaranteed.

This is why Logos has such a difficult time keeping users happy. To me, coloring text to indicate the speaker is similar to adding pericope headings, cross-references, alternative readings, footnotes, et. al.

Red Letter can be controlled by "Bible text formatting" (under "Bible text only") when it is YES in Program Settings, which seems logical. If it is NO in Settings, "Bible text formatting" has no effect on Red Letter.
