New User

I just started using Logos Reftagger. I am having problems getting the verse links to work properly. Some work and others don't, even though they appear to be written the same. I'm using WordPress 5.1.1 on a PC. Here is a link to the specific page where the trouble is occurring - https://whynotchooselife.com/index.php/romans-chapter-8/
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,
Welcome to the forums.
I don't know what software you've used to construct your posts, but I'm afraid the underlying HTML code that WordPress has generated is very garbled.
For example, I looked at the reference to Romans 5:16, 18 a few paragraphs in. The sentence says:
Paul told us back in chapter five (Rom. 5:16,18), that condemnation arose from one transgression
But the underlying HTML actually says:
<span class="T115">Paul told us back in chapter five </span><span class="T116">(</span><span class="T117">Ro</span><span class="T118">m</span><span class="T119">.</span><span class="T120"> </span><span class="T121">5:16</span><span class="T122">,18</span><span class="T123">)</span><span class="T124">,</span><span class="T125"> that </span><span class="T126">condemnation</span><span class="T127"> </span><span class="T128">arose </span>
Although that looks OK in the browser, RefTagger deals with the underlying HTML, and just can't make sense of all that.
The only thing you can do is to delete all the content, and paste it in again. I've just tested this (pasting into WordPress from LibreOffice), and I don't get any of that garble.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I will forward this to the website builder (I'm just the author).
Thanks again,
Rick
