[BUG]: Constant loop: Resources are ready to be added to your Library
Hi,
I constantly get the message:
"Resources are ready to be added to your library. Updates will be added when the application is restarted". Even after 10 restarts, I keep getting this message. Here is the log:

Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

This might be a corrupted file or something similar. I'd suggest deleting these files, then try starting the application again:
/Users/eberlein/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/d5641vkc.6jn/ResourceManager/Resources/PRSNLRCLCTNS.logos4
/Users/eberlein/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/d5641vkc.6jn/ResourceManager/Downloaded/LLS:PRSNLRCLCTNS/

When I could not get Logos to run, I suddenly realized how much I depend on Logos. This sounds like it's a risky decision to choose to use the beta.
I am not a Pastor so no church congregation depends on me or on Logos running smoothly on my laptop.
But I suddenly realized how used I am to doing my personal devotions with Logos. I realized that it must have been years since I last did personal devotions with a physical book.
Hi,
Today when I started Logos I hit this problem (I'm running windows 10 and Logos 8.4.0013). I tried running the command 'update all' but that made no difference. Then I tried restarting Logos a couple of times. Then I restarted the computer.
Log file attached......
I saw some links above regarding deleting files but I think they must be for Mac.
Anthony, you can try the same with LLS:ESVEXPCOMDANMAL i.e.
Delete C:\Users\tonyd\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\3oyknzii.dy0\ResourceManager\Downloaded\LLS_ESVEXPCOMDANMAL
Delete C:\Users\tonyd\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\3oyknzii.dy0\ResourceManager\Resources\ESVEXPCOMDANMAL.logos4
then restart Logos.

Thanks for the suggestion, However, as you can see from the attached screen clips, neither of these files exist.
It appears not to exist in the Resources folder, but it should exist in the \Downloaded folder
i.e. C:\Users\tonyd\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\3oyknzii.dy0\ResourceManager\Downloaded\LLS_ESVEXPCOMDANMAL (delete the LLS_... folder/file)

I'm on 8.4 Beta 3, version 8.4.0.0013 and am having this issue this morning.
Here are the Logos.log and LogosError.log:
There are a series of errors associated with CloudResourceManager being unable to find the expected download job for a resource.
Please advise. Thanks!

Yep, I got stuck on one this morning too (THMTTHWNCRNCRTR).
Had to remove from the Downloaded folder to fix: .\Logos\Data\xxxxxxxx.xxx\ResourceManager\Downloaded\

Do you mean remove everything in the "...\Downloaded\" folder (I have 467 folders in it)?

Specifically, your logs indicate:
C:\Users\Rich\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\2e2k45uv.psv\ResourceManager\Downloaded\LLS_HISTCOUNC01
Deleting that folder should fix the issue.
I'm not sure why you would have those other folders hanging around... My guess is that they can be safely deleted.

That did it. Thanks!
As regards the other folders, most of them are very old (from 2015), one from 2017 and one from 2019. I'd assume they'd be safe to delete too, though I'm tend to be over cautious on following my assumptions after having been bitten in the back-side for doing so in the past.

It happened again.
@Logos: Anything we can do to help you track this down?

You can safely delete the \Downloaded folder when there is no current download activity. Deleting the 2019 sub-folder may cause a download when Logos is restarted, but that's it!
