How To Have One Set of Resources on a Shared Computer
Hello,
I share a computer with my wife and have installed Logos 8 in a location that we can both access. Unfortunately, when she starts Logos from that location, it will not use the resources in that location and begins installing all of the resources to a location specific to her user.
How can Logos be configured to start using resources in the shared location?
Thank and God bless!
Peter

It sounds like each of you have a separate Faithlife account. If that is the case, then
press and hold the Control Key down and double click the Logos icon.
Continue holding the Control key until the sign-iin screen appears.
If you are logging in, use your Faithlife username and password. If she is logging in, she will do so with her username and password.
This will result i each of you seeing the resources, tools, and user created documents associated with your accounts.
If using Mac, then substitute the Command key for the Control key

Unfortunately Logos cannot be shared from separate user accounts, even if you have installed it to a location you can both access.
You must both Logon from the User in which it was installed, and then you share everything, not just resources.

While we do have different computer login accounts, we share the same Faithlife/Logos account and I've used that account when signing in to Logos. When she is logged in to her computer user account and then attempts to launch Logos, signing in with our shared Faithlife account, Logos attempts a new installation of library resources under her computer account user.
Thank you for taking the time to reply!

Welcome [:D]
Sharing one set of resource files for more than one Logos (OR Verbum) application has resource maintenance issue since each application has local indexing of resources (includes datasets). If resource is updated without associated index(es) being updated, then highlighting in resource can appear off kilter and search results can have puzzling results.
