Is anyone going to take advantage of the current discount of 30% on the Feature Expansion Sets?

I'm giving some thought to a couple of them, but the features are working very well with the resources I have -- especially in light of the library expansions I have.

The sale missed the cultural concepts collection.

It doesn't look like that one was updated either.

They also missed the Timeline one: https://www.logos.com/product/55443/timeline-collection

I won't be taking part in it... there are just too many sales going on for me as well as new books coming out so I'm going to have to pass.  If the discount were greater I might.  I have older versions of Parallel Passages, Factbook and Timeline which I really like.  It seems they have added more to them over time though.  If I could, I would jump on the Factbook has it now has the https://www.logos.com/product/135823/encyclopedia-of-ancient-christianity

Logos added bunch of really old resources into the expansions for this sale.

I didn't noticed this Mike. To me it seems that the old resources in the sets were not just added for the sale but where there from the beginning when the sets were created as I remember looking at them some months back. Did you think they added them just for the sale or am I misunderstanding you?

All but two of the Feature Expansion sets were updated a few days ago. It's those sets that are now on sale. I'm not sure it's possible to know for certain which resources were added to the sets.

I was simply giving my impression of what resources were "New to Me" before and afterwards and, as far as I can remember, they were they same as before. Perhaps other resources were added that I already owned. Also, my memory could be mistaken.

I'm not sure if this helps but...

In 2016 I bought the factbook collection.  It is now $157 and change for me.  Resources added from 2016: Encyclopedia of Ancient Christianity, Compton's Encyc., Dictionary of Bible and Ancient Media, Who's who in Christian History and Willmington's Book of Bible lists.  I believe the first two are fairly recent resources.

In 2016, I bought the parallel collection.  It is now $5 and change and only adds Copple's Harmony of the Gospels.

I also own the cultural conceptions collection from 2018 but that isn't offered in this sale.  It hasn't changed since I bought it.  I do not own the timeline collection but I have peeked at it every now and then.  I feel like it is a little more expensive since I last looked but I could be wrong.

    Side Note:

I do hope for more collections in the future though!  I also wish some might be broken down into smaller parts as well as some of these are too large and thus too expensive for what I'd use.  I'd like to see a Reformed Systematic Theology collection or something similar verses here is 214 Sys. Theos or 141 Bib. Theos... that is just too much for me to find useful but I'm sure there is someone out there who loves them

I can't give you the details, but I know I for sure that these expansion sets were on my radar for awhile and they weren't this expensive and have these many resources. So I checked them real quick and I found out that I saw some old resources that weren't there in the beginning. I wish I had a screen shot to prove them.

But then again, I'm not surprise, stuffing with old materials is a logos thingy. (remember L8?)

    Not impressed.
