How to attach a note to a verse?

How do I attach a note to a verse, so that it appears in any bibles that are open?
I this is the only way I've ever taken notes in logos...

Assuming you're wanting to do this on mobile (posted in the mobile forum), tap the panel menu button (︙) to the right of the reference box, change the reference if needed by clicking left or right, then choose "Make a Note" from the menu.

Thanks... why is this now bifurcated? Now there are two different menus to make a note, one on text selection and one on the three dots... unnecessarily confusing to the user.
