Hello UseLand,
Anyone know how, if it is now possible, to sync Bible Reading Notes on my laptop to my desktop?
Thanks for any insights? Bill

Bill, if you mean notes you make in your Logos 4 on your laptop, so long as you have Internet Use on and are connected to the Internet (on both computers) those notes will sync automatically and be accessible in both computers.
As long as you have "use internet" set to yes on both machines, they should sync automatically. The note you create or edit on your desktop is saved on the Logos server and then when you logo in on your laptop it syncs the information.
Guess we were posting at the exact same time.
Chris, does this mean all the sync "work" in v3 is automatic in 4? Do both computers need to be logged in at the same time? If there is a quick answer somewhere else, just point me in that direction. Thanks!
Rick,
This is one of the features of L4. It automatically sync's what you do on one computer to the Logos server and then when you use your other computer it is sync'ed there. So, you can work on something at Starbucks on your laptop - assuming you can access the WiFi - then go home and open Logos and pick up right where you left off. You should save your layout, but all notes, searches, clippings, prioritizations, collections, parallel resources, etc. are saved and accessed. You don't have to be simultaneously connected.
I'm not sure there is any tutorial because it is automatic - so long as you have internet connection and have Internet turned on under tools on both computers.
Chris
Fred,
That seems to happen a lot for me! Great mind think alike, is what I like to think. Or is it that we are all just sitting around with nothing to do but answer forum posts -- no, I like the other one.

NO, They are using the term in 2 differing ways.
Libronix 3 used "Syncronize in terms of its licenses.(in the Tools Menu)
Logos 4 uses the term "Syncronize" to relate to your personal Layouts, bookmarks notes etc.
Confusing? Yes!
