Bug? Unable to Drag Resources

I went to add a resource to my shortcut area and it won’t drag. I can’t find another way to create a shortcut. I also cannot drag my resources around to readjust them, such as dragging my notes, a couple books and various resources around my screen for study. This is frustrating as I am preparing these resources for a study next week.

Is there an option I may have accidentally changed to disable dragging resources? I looked but couldn’t find one.

I connected a different mouse to no avail. I can drag other windows around so I know it isn’t the computer.

Logos is up-to-date, too. Any advice, please?

Did you drag the tab?  Have you tried reopening Logos?

When I try to drag any tab/resource it won’t budge. I restarted Logos a couple times to no avail. It was the first thing I tried, just in case.

    Hi Natasha

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. Just to make sure that we are talking about the same thing...

In order to drag a resource to the shortcut bar I need to move the pointer to the area enclosed in Red. When the information panel appears I can click and hold and after a short pause I can then (still holding) drag the tab to the shortcut bar.

Is this the procedure that is failing for you?

If so, at what point is the failure obvious?

By the way MacOS 10.14.4 and Logos 8.5 Beta 1 (these details help make sure that those with similar setups take notice)

Once I start to drag the screen changes to look like this...

That’s right, Mike. I try and it won’t change to the visual in the second picture. I haven’t used Logos for about 2-3 weeks (maybe 4) so when I booted it up, I had an update I let it do. I removed a few shortcuts and prepared to move new resources there for May to study and discovered I can’t drag anything there anymore.

Are you on a Mac to Natasha?

The only thing I notice is that I sometimes have to 'jiggle' the pointer over the tab section for a moment before the pointer will pick up the tab.

If you are on windows then I understand there might be divers driver that might be worth investigation. In that case a windows user might advise.

Please tell us about your operating system and computer. A screenshot would also help.
