I am trying to install Logos 8 on my new computer.
I am stuck at this stage (please see picture).
What can I do now?
The next step fails to load (as shown in the picture above).
Should I close the window, uninstall and retry?
Vincent, absent a more expert response, my guess (if it were me), would be the servers and your library. The book-specific download is new. I'd wait until Monday (the worker bees), before an uninstall ... unless you already solved it.
I never had problems installing Logos before. Why the change
I couldn't install Logos now
The change is for Cloud Resources:
The Download your Logos 8 Library window is supposed to give you a choice of resources from "minimal" to "recommended" to "all".
Click Retry, or click the X at top right and then restart Logos from the desktop icon (top left of your screen).
That failing, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, right-click Logos Bible Software and choose Repair. Restart Logos.
Please report further issues in the Logos 8 Forum (you can link it to this thread) as a Bug.

The problem seems to be the servers. After waiting a day, the "failed to load" appears to have resolved on its own. Happy days!

I am having a similar problem ' not exactly the same. The 2.4 GB of data is too much for my slow 600 kilobyte internet speed. I am stuck there too and cant use the software. I do not like they insist we install this library even in the free version . Should be customized to the individual. I don't like software that relies on the internet, and lengthy downloads. Disappointed. I simply wanted to test the core functionally of the software, not spend days downloading things I'll never use.
