Suggestions for large number of personal resources on multiple computers
I'm relatively new to Logos, have Logos 8 on 3 family Windows computers and 2 iPhones -- and thousands of personal books and articles available to add. In most cases, I convert PDFs and occasionally EPUBs to DOCX then add the DOCX to Logos.
Can I, and if so how, tag them so that I can distinguish between type e.g.dictionaries vs. pastoral commentary etc. or by subject matter such as prophecy vs. history etc?
Any suggestions on how I can best add them on my desktop, then have them fully usuable on our Windows-based Surface Pro's? My understanding is that they will not be usable on our iPhones.
Thank you in advance for helping a new user.

You can set the resource type in the PBB tool
You can use the Add Field section to add information such as Subject headings

If you are running the standard Desktop version of Logos on your Surface Pro, then you can have you PB's on that device. In order to sync PB's between devices they must be uploaded to the Logos servers.

uploading for sync is as simple as clicking the upload button once it is added. I don't have nearly that number of personal books, but I have made it a habit to click upload when I complete the conversion.
