I am a logos 8 user and am looking to use Logos in a new to me way, I have journals in my library but I do not see a way to search for the above on a specific topic. How does one do this?

From search help at the wiki:
Journal Article
Properties:
- Title – the title of the article
- References – the primary Bible reference(s) the article is about
- Author – the author(s) of the article
- Topics – the primary <Topic> reference(s) the article is about
- Date – the <Date> reference when the journal was published
For example:
{Label Journal Article WHERE Title ~ “Contextual Analysis”}
{Label Journal Article WHERE Author ~ “Warrington”}
{Label Journal Article WHERE Topics ~ <Topic Gospel of Luke>}Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

You could make a collection of all the journals in your library that are "peer reviewed" journals. You might have to do some research to find out which ones are peer reviewed. Not all of the journals in Logos are. And not all of the ones that are necessarily mention it explicitly as such in their front matter. You could do a search on "peer review" in all your journals and then carefully check through those hits to see if it's front matter claiming this journal is peer reviewed or just an incidental mention of that phrase in some article.
Here's some helpful info on determining which journals are peer reviewed journals:

A few journals that are peer reviewed that I have at least one issue of in my library are below (I did the search I suggested above). But that's by no means an exhaustive list. Just a head start for you in creating your collection.
- Artistic Theologian
- Biblical and Ancient Greek Linguistics
- Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research
- Hugoye: Journal of Syriac Studies
- Imaginatio et Ratio: A Journal of Theology and the Arts
- Journal for the Evangelical Study of the Old Testament
- Journal of Biblical and Pneumatological Research
- Journal of Discipleship and Family Ministry
- Journal of Family Ministry
- Journal of Markets & Morality
- Journal of Moral Theology
- Journal of Northwest Semitic Languages
- Journal of the Adventist Theological Society
- Maranatha Baptist Theological Journal
- The Near East Archaeological Society Bulletin
- Themelios
- Tyndale Bulletin
- Westminster Theological Journal
Unfortunately Logos does not provide a way to filter your search results to only peer-reviewed journals, but they should. According to that link I posted above: "Some databases allow you to limit searches for articles to peer reviewed journals only. For example, Academic Search Complete has this feature on the initial search screen." Logos ought to consider it. It would be a helpful feature.

I am not a published author but am intermittently writing academic papers where this would matter. In the higher level packages I am surprised this is not available. Thanx for the assist.
