Hello everyone, I am a new user.

I would like to know if it is possible to anchor scripture ref to entire notebooks as I can only see a way to anchor to specific notes?

Thx, Rob.

No - we can only anchor to specific notes.

What are you trying to achieve by anchoring to an entire notebook?

    TY for the quick reply

I would like to anchor to the repository of a subject rather than one specific note in there and then have to back track from there to the notebook to find other references I am looking for.

As I am new to Logos, I am trying to sort out the best note structure and I am getting a little frustrated.

It sounds like your best bet is to add a "Tag" to the notes you want in a particular subject. Then you can filter your notes by your custom tags. Once you add a tag it shows up as a filterable tag under the "Tags" in the notes sidebar.

yes, I see. A tag can be more than one word, it can be a phrase.

I think I need to study just how best to organize my notes before I get into a real mess. Is there a course module on using "notes" somewhere?

Prior to Logos I was using OliveTree which has a basic note structure. I need to fully understand the notes features abilities before I go much further I think to efficiently structure and locate my work.

    Thx, Rob.

That sounds like a good plan! Logos tags, labels, and anchor tags offer notes a lot of ability and freedom. But, it's good to understand what they do and have a system to keep yourself from making things too messy. But, don't be afraid to mess up! Notes have a BULK editor if you do! Haha.
