IOS Prayer Lists???
I have always loved the prayer list features of Logos. I used to access them from the home screen. I realize now I must go to Today's Prayers. But I still have some nagging questions.
- How can we see the full description / notes field on the detail screen?
- Can we please mark the prayer as "prayed" on the detail screen?
- Could you then please skip to the next prayer?
If the details screen for the first prayer had 1) the entire description / notes displayed and 2) a method to mark prayed and 3) skip to the next prayer request, this would be ideal.
It would be the best prayer app anywhere.
I am using an iPhone XR IOS 12.2

Hi Mike. We are not able to duplicate the problem you have with not seeing the full description. Please send us your logs:
- Open the app.
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Tap Help.
- Press "Report a Problem"
A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Please press "Send" to send your report. A technician will reply as soon as possible.

Done. Thanks. I've never seen the whole description or note on any version of the software. I'll be glad when that's fixed.

Like Mike, I too have never seen the entire "description text" of a prayer request. Usually it's just the first sentence or two then it's cut off.

We've had a few emails / troubleshooting going back and forth offline and I gave them a pretty detailed test. I'll reply here as things progress.

Thank you for working on this. I reported this issue in January, 2018. It is hard to get church members to buy in to using this to when they cannot read the requests.

Well, the unfortunate update on this is, they may or may not be working on it. Joe helped get a ticket open, but apparently there is some discrepancy which team is working on this within Logos. "Development" has a ticket, but I have no visibility to it or any idea of when we might expect a response. All the customer service people will say is that there is a ticket.
- The good news is, if you create a new prayer list and add a prayer to it, whether mobile or web, it should wrap properly and work as expected in the current mobile app. Prayers in old prayer lists look like the image on this thread.
- However, the bad news is, a new multi-line prayer request, even if it wraps properly in the mobile app, still will not wrap correctly on the web app. You have to hover over it or click on it to see the whole description.
For those of us who are starting now, we would only experience #2. If you only use the mobile app, this problem is solved when all of your prayer requests are in new lists. If I hear that they've done something to fix the behavior with old prayer lists, I hope to remember to update this thread.

@Joe, any update on this issue? Is anything going to be done about it or not?

Is there a way to migrate old lists into the new lists?

I noticed the wrapping and seeing the whole note is fixed. Thank you!
I confess, I don't know when that happened as I don't use the tool much any more. But we still can't mark a prayer as having been prayed and we can't see just the prayers for today. Any chance those will be fixed in the next few years?
