Storage space excessive

I was running into problems with storage space on my phone. Logos app was taking 1.30 GB of space, and 8 only had about 9 books downloaded. No audio.

I deleted the data and cache. Redownloaded the same books automatically. Now 8 am only using 448 MB.

Is logos storing searches, or notes, or ? over time, or how did it get to 1.3 GB?

Android 7

Logos 8.4.0

I assume this is still the case, but ALL of your notes automatically download to the app. I have no idea how large the android app is, but the iOS app is nearly 200MB. Depending upon your books, they could easily be another 200+ MB (especially if you have any books with images such as a study bible). My guess is that your current installation hasn't downloaded all of your notes yet. I don't know if that would reflect the discrepancy or not. FWIW - I have 30 books downloaded on iOS and am at 1.5GB

That could be the case. It might be a nice feature to only download selected notes to conserve space.

Hmm. Now that I think about it, I believe that currently notes & highlights don't appear in a resource unless it is downloaded. I don't know if that is a bug, or a limitation of the new app. In any case, I am not sure if all notes do indeed download or not.
