LOVE This APP Shout Out to the Teams
This is a shout out to the programmers...
I love this app. It may not be everyone's perfect app but it never will be. But, it has enhanced my reading and study tremendously over the previous apps I had been using. The GUI is beautiful (especially in dark mode) and makes for a very enjoyable and often effortless reading/studying experience.
Your team, along with all the L8 development and programming teams have done an outstanding job and deserve to hear it.

Well, Robert, after your advice to the other gentleman to re-install after his app stopped in the middle of the road, the Logos app is just the best! Okay!
I just loaded up a new resource that shipped, to check the resource out. Latest/greatest app version, newer ipad.
- Clicking on a reference to another volume in the set creates a new blank page. The code doesn't check to see if the volume can be accessed first. Duh.
- Changing pages takes 4-5 seconds. I have a pretty good idea why, in their code.
- If you're crazy enough to open the app to where you were (the above mentioned resource), it's 10 seconds to load.
- I've had my Olivetree installed maybe 6 years now on another ipad, pretty decent library ... notes too. No re-installs, no cautions to "be careful ... it's delicate".
But, okay!

Denise,
Hi Denise, I believe the gentleman's issue was an Apple IOS update that messed things up. I know have have had many issues with IOS in the past, but still a great device.
I am sorry your experience isn't comparable to mine. I am using an iPad 2017 (9.7) with all the "silver" resources loaded onto it, and I am very happy with its performance. I also used OliveTree for many years but have stopped using it completely after buying L8. I have had a few glitches and find the sophistication of this programming compared to others, and its advantages far out weigh any momentary inconveniences.
I have had delay issues in the past with other programs when accessing resources on the cloud through an internet connection. I find the internet is always slower than local libraries.
I hope things get sorted out for you so that you enjoy the program as much as I do.
Blessings Denise.
