I keep accidentally closing tabs when I mean to select them. Here's my idea...

Could there be an option in settings to enable an alert box to pop up whenever closing a tab. That way, those who hate unnecessary alerts could opt not to use them, while klutzes like me would be protected from accidentally hitting that X multiple times daily.

That sounds like a good idea to me. In the meantime, do you know about the undo tab close shortcut?

Ctrl+Shift+T (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+T (Mac) will reopen that tab quickly.

Thank you, Levi. I know it now. Sadly, some time often passes before I'm aware of my error. But I will probably use CTRL+Shift+WIN in the next few minutes.
