Notes and Highlights IOS iPad ver. 4

Since upgrading to Logos 8 on my Macs, my highlights and notes no longer sync with my iPad.  I have an older iPad that maxed out its update capacity at IOS 10.3.3.  Is there a workaround to this problem?  I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and while all my library resources update and the reading programs update correctly, the notes and highlights still do not.  This is important to me because I use my iPad and the notes for weekly preaching instead of carrying physical notes to the pulpit.  Please do help, if possible.

Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out.

The Logos app is available on the vast majority of iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices.

Like most companies, we track the device models and operating systems that our customers use to access Logos on their phones and tablets.

Once the number of customers using an older operating system drops below a certain threshold, we can no longer ship updated versions of our apps to those devices.

This means that if you are using an unsupported device, the Logos app may degrade in performance or cease to work over time. Sync services will also stop working, which it sounds like you're experiencing.

We always give advance notice before we drop a version. By the time we announce we're dropping support for a version, most users are using a supported device or operating system anyway.

I'm sorry that we can't support your device. Thankfully, the cost of phones and devices continues to drop. They're getting faster and cheaper.

There are also many refurbished models available which can be significantly cheaper than buying new.

Another option would be to sign in to app.logos.com on your web browser. You should be able to access your notes and highlights in our web app.

Let us know if you need help knowing if a device you intend to purchase is supported or not (it probably is).

I have a brand new iPad Pro. Up-To-date and the last couple of days it won’t show my highlights. If I go to highlights they’re still there. Also they are there on my iPhone. As the last guy said this is very important to me.

Hi Jabri - and welcome to the forums

Try checking to see if the resources are downloaded to your device. If not, download them and see if the highlights reappear

PS: This is a very different issue to the one raised in this thread. It's often best to start a new thread and explain exactly what the issue is.
