Nelson's Complete Book of Bible Maps and Charts
I purchased "Nelson's Complete Book of Bible Maps and Charts Revised" today with great expectations but was surprised to find that there are no hyperlinks to majority of the bible verses references which is the basic fundamental feature of any Logos resource. Is the resource like this only?

I did check my copy of the resource - it seems you are right. This book probably was originally produced by Thomas Nelson themselves way back in the past (maybe to be included in some of their eBible CD-ROMs), and it seems even the most basic tagging was missed. Faithlife updated it quite recently - LLS:9.20.6 / 2018-09-18T21:42:51Z / BKMAPCHT.logos4 - , but didn't put in the effort to include the references.
Maybe if some users report the missing links as typo's, Faithlife will update it. The first very obvious instance is https://ref.ly/logosres/bkmapcht?art=2.2.0.0&off=571&ctx=+body+of+literature+~(Josh.+1%3a7%3b+Dan.+9%3a1 The resource could benefit from even more tagging (such as timeline) to be most useful.

On the advice of customer support, I updated the windows and also tried hiding and unhiding the said resource. But the problem still persists. I checked that even in web app https://app.logos.com/ , the hyperlinks and verse tagging of majority of verse references are not functional just as in desktop application. Hence it seems logical for Faithlife to update the resource with tagging in all verse reference.

I can confirm this. Some of the older resources (such as Nelson's) really need to be updated.

I actually used to have the paper copy of this so I was thrilled just to have it electronically, even without the tagging. I still use it as my first reference when beginning a new study of a Bible book... and use it with my small group as well - it gives them some neat background info as we begin our study.
But yeah, tagging would be cool too... who am I to argue? Never argue with a good idea! [:D]

Indeed better than before.
However, it would have been even better to have double checked the correct linking before publishing, so that Ezekiel and Ezra don't get mixed up...

I thought I replied to this earlier but I guess I didn't. To be honest, I'm not sure what happened on our end. (I have my suspicions) This book was tagged along time ago and somehow the links got turned "off". We didn't do anything on our end beyond merely turning them back on.

This is the expected behavior. There is no "selectable" text... it is a graphic image. The earlier example is a chart with selectable text.
